Hirion (“Hirion”, “we”, “us”) operates the AI job-matching service available at hirion.ch. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

We collect only what we need to match you with relevant jobs:

• Account data: your name, email address, and login credentials (managed through our authentication provider; passwords are stored only as secure hashes).
• CV and profile data: the CV you upload and the information extracted from it (such as roles, skills, and experience), plus the job preferences you set (target roles, locations, salary expectations, languages).
• Usage and technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and log data generated when you use the service.
• Payment data: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
• Communications: messages you send us through the contact form or by email.

• To match job openings against your CV, skills, and preferences.
• To send you job-alert emails when relevant roles appear (you can unsubscribe anytime).
• To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
• To process subscriptions and payments.
• To respond to your requests and provide support.

Where the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/revDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, we process your data on the basis of: the performance of our contract with you (providing the service); your consent (for example, receiving job-alert emails, which you may withdraw at any time); and our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service securely.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under contract, including:

• Our cloud, database, and authentication infrastructure providers (hosting the application and your account data).
• Our job-data provider, which supplies the aggregated job listings we match against.
• Stripe, for payment processing.
• Our email delivery provider, for transactional and job-alert emails.

We may also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the service.

Some of our providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses) to protect your data.

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can unsubscribe from job-alert emails at any time using the link in every email, or by deleting your account from your settings.

We use only the cookies and similar technologies necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the service securely. We do not use them to build advertising profiles.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and restricted access to personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you where appropriate.
